On October 15-26 at Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi, Georgia) "Autumn Lectures in Tbilisi" had been carried out within Georgian-German scientific bridge. Themes, being considered occupied the scopes of Nuclear Physics and Medical Physics.
On October 15 at the Administration Building of Georgian Technical University the Presentation of the Project was carried out and the Memorandum was signed between the Institute of Neuro-Sciences and Medicine and Georgian Technical University. At the same time was signed the agreement according to which Julich Scientific-Research Center will supply Georgian Technical University with the technical facilities and the laboratory. Rector of GTU, Academician Archil Prangishvili opened the Presentation. He introduced German guests: Director of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of Julich S-R Institute Hans Stroher, Director of the Institute of Neuro-Sciences and Medicine Nadim John Shah, scientists of the Institute of Nuclear Physics Detlev Gotta, Marcus Buscher, Andro Kacharava and thanked them for coming in Georgia. Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze also thanked the guests and expressed the hope that the cooperation would continue in future as well.
After the Project Presentation invited guests continued the meeting at the Department of Physics in GTU Campus IV, where further lectures and practical studies were carried out. 26 students of the Program of Engineering Physics from GTU, 4 students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences from TSU, 2 students from Ilia University, one post-graduate from the University of Napoli and 2 post-graduates from Julich S-R Center participated in the Project.
After the Project termination, the participants were awarded by the certificates and the most successful students: Michael Kelenjeridze and Dimitri Kolotauri (III ocourse), Dito Shergelashvili and Tamar Khechiashvili (IV course), Goga
Kakabadze (II course) will participate in trainings in the Institute of Nuclear Physics and in the Institute of Neuro-Sciences and Medicine of Julich S-R Center, from November 20 till December 20.
