On May 25, by the decision of GTU Academic Council, Prof. Archil Prangishvili, the Rector of the Georgian Technical University awarded the Chairman of the Georgian Friendship Association, Mr. Ali Riza Altunel – Darbazishvili with the Degree of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Georgian Technical University in recognition of the contribution to the fruitful cultural, social and cordial cooperation between Georgia and Turkey.
