“Doctoral Programs in Energy and Electrical Engineering in the United States”
On January 20, at GTU was conducted the seminar “Doctoral Programs in Energy and Electrical Engineering in the United States”, organized by the New Applied Technology Efficiency and Lighting Initiative (NATELI).
Prof. Hameed Nezhad (Metropolitan State University, USA) introduced the participants to the structures of Ph.D. programs in the United States, particularly in the following areas: Energy & Environmental Policy; Electrical and Power Engineering.
At the forum were discussed the critical issues in the development of Ph.D. programs in Georgia such as: institutional support, market demand for the graduates, collaborations possibilities, educational resources, student demand and financial resources.
