On October 18-21, 2011, were conducted events dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Academician Rafael Agladze, organized by Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Georgian Technical University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and R. Agladze Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry.
On October 18 was held the Jubilee Session at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. Within these events, on October 19-21, at Georgian Technical University took place the Jubilee Conference on Applied Chemistry.
The major topic of the Conference was application of chemical and surface technologies to the following branches:
· New and Improved Materials;
· New and Improved Chemical Substances;
· Biomedicine, Biotechnology and Food Industry;
· Energy (sources, conversion, storage);
· Safe Environment;
· Standardization and Metrology.
Theses and the volume of proceedings will be published.
