A Unique Computer Center and a Teaching and Scientific Laboratory at GTU
On October 13, at Georgian Technical University was opened a Computer Center equipped with the latest computer technologies. The Center is designed for up to 300 students and is a unique one in Georgia.
Herewith a teaching and scientific laboratory was opened at Georgian Technical University as well. The laboratory with the purposes of maintaining researches and practical works comprises more than 80 types of up-to-date relevant technical facilities. It will allow conducting more than 100 laboratory works in construction sphere. The laboratory will provide scientific researches and experiments in compliance with the modern international standards as well.
The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened the event. The Minister of Education and Science Dimitri Shashkini, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the President of the Georgian National Olympic Committee Gia Natsvlishvili as well as the Rector of the Georgian Technical University Archil Prangishvili and the representatives of GTU administration attended the event.
