RewardOn October 12, Prof. Romualdas Ginevicius, former Rector of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius, Lithuania) was awarded a Honoris Causa the degree of Honorary Doctorate of the Georgian Technical University.
At the meeting of GTU Academic Council, Prof. Archil Prangishvili, the Rector of the Georgian Technical University delivered Prof. Romualdas Ginevicius the Diploma of Honorary Doctorate and the symbol of Georgian Technical University, a silver replica of the bronze statue that dates back to the 2nd century B.C. and was discovered during the archeological excavations in ancient Vani (Georgia) settlement.
