Actual Issues of Applied Physics
On March 30, at Georgian Technical University was conducted International Conference “Actual Issues of Applied Physics” devoted to the establishment of the Faculty of Physics and 80th anniversary of Raphiel Chikovani, honored scientist, public man, Georgian state prize winner, academician of the Georgian engineering academy.
Prof. Archil Prangishvili, the rector of GTU opened the conference. He welcomed the guests and thanked them for participating in the conference. Metropolitan Anania of Manglisi and Tsalka Eparchy welcomed the guests as well and blessed them.
Conference working languages were Georgian, English, Russian. The conference explored the following areas of interest: applied physics in modern science, medicine, technique, technology and production; methodology of the study of applied physics; issues of the history of applied physics.
Conference theses will be published.
