On February 13-16 the TUG Administration and the Students’ Movement along with the Georgian Chess Federation organized chess Championship at TUG. Up to 250 students have been participating at the tournament. The winners were awarded with the appropriate cups, medals and chess complete sets.
The male winners:
Levan Buchukuri (Faculty of Transportation and Mechanical Engineering) – I Place
Beburi Sulaberidze (Faculty of Transportation and Mechanical Engineering) – II Place
Akaki Ladaria (Faculty of Civil Engineering) – III Place
The female winners:
Tamuna Matnadze (Faculty of Civil Engineering) – I Place
Salome Sirbiladze (Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunications) – II Place
Sopho Darjania (Humanities-Social Faculty) – III Place
