New Higher Professional Education Program in Georgia
On September 25 the small and medium-sized enterprises support project (The SME Support Project) and the ministry of education and science of Georgia conducted the presentation regarding new higher professional education program achievements at Gori University at saloon “Universe” . The program is an innovation for the Georgian education system and it was started in Gori in October, 2007.
The TUG rector, prof. Archil Prangishvili opened the presentation. The presentation was attended by Ann Peterson, acting director of USAID/Caucasus Mission; Nodar Surguladze, deputy minister of education and science of Georgia; Ardith Mann, Community Colleges for International Development Project manager. Among invited guests were the representatives of USAID and the TUG administration as well as the rectors of Batumi, Akhalkalaki and Tsnori higher professional colleges.
