On June 5 at TUG was held the meeting regarding the discussion in connection with the issues concerning the formation of the Distance Lerning Centre.

The rector of TUG, Prof. Archil Prangishvili opened the meeting. He vastly talked about the structure of Distance Learning Centres in Europe and USA.

Among the invited guests were the rector of the Modern Humanitarian Academy (Russia), Prof. Mikheil Karpenko and the Pro-rector of the Academy, Prof. Lyudmila Selskaya. Russian guests made the presentation concerning the methods and new technologies of Distance Learning.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of TUG administration and self-government and academic personnel as well. At the end of the meeting was signed the Memorandum of Agreement between TUG and Modern Humanitarian Academy.
