Elections of the Rector of the Technical University of Georgia
On February 14 was conducted the elections of the Rector of TUG. There were three candidates for this position: Prof. Paata Kervalishvili, Prof. Alexander Lashkhi and Prof. Archil Prangishvili.
Prof. Kervalishvili and Prof. Lashkhi withdrew their candidatures before the election.
The results of the election are:
Total number of electors - 16;
Participants of the election - 16;
Number of ballot-papers - 16;
Number of false ballot-papers - 0;
Number of votes for Prof. Archil Prangishvili;
Finally, Prof. Archil Prangishvili was unanimously elected as the Rector of TUG. He is the fourteenth rector of the Technical University of Georgia.
