The reorganization of GTU faculties was carried out based on the meeting’s minutes of the GTU Academic Council of 25th, 2025 No. 01-05-02/22:
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Chemical Technologies was established on the basis of the Faculties of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy and Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering;
The Faculty of Mining Geology and Sustainable Mountain Development was established on the basis of the Faculties of Sustainable Mountain Development and Mining Geology.
The Department of Metallurgy, Materials Science and Steel Processing was established at the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering.
