Ambassador of Rumania visited GTU

On September 10 the Ambassador of Romania Dr. Dan Mihai Barliba visited GTU. He met the Rector of GTU, Prof. Archil Motsonelidze and GTU professors A. Prangishvili, S. Esadze, G. Salukvadze. Expressing solidarity to our country the Ambassador vastly discussed last months events in Georgia and assured that Romania strongly supports our country providing Georgia with the humanitarian aid and will help in rehabilitation of damaged infrastructure during the war, first of all it concerns the bridges, railway, refugees dwellings’ amendment..

Romania will support Georgia in Military area as well.

During the meeting were discussed the issues regarding close academic cooperation and further relationships between GTU and Polytechnical University of Bucharest. As the GTU Rector said the details of the memorandum between these universities will be defined precisely in December during the visit of the representative of the Romanian Polytechnical University at GTU.
