By decision of the Government of Georgia, August 29th, 2025 was officially declared a holiday.

The relevant resolution (№381, August 25, 2025) was signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

August 28th (the feast of the Assumption of Mary) is a holiday according to the Labor Code of Georgia, and the following day, August 29, has also been declared a holiday.

The working process at the Georgian Technical University will resume from September 1st.
