A person wishing to transfer to GTU from another higher educational institution through mobility, who will register on the electronic portal of the LEPL-Management Information System students.emis.ge (from August 25th, 2025 to September 9th, inclusive) and will obtain the right to transfer to GTU through mobility, must immediately apply to the university to submit the documentation required for internal registration.

Students eligible for mobility enrollment in GTU educational programs starting from the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year must submit their documents to the Georgian Technical University from September 12th to September 17th, 2025 (excluding weekends), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the address: 77 Kostava Street, Administrative Building, 3rd floor, Room 334 (entrance from GTU Building 4).

Documents to be submitted to enroll in mobility:

1. Copy of ID card;

2. Copy of military conscription certificate (for men);

3. Student’s academic record (mark sheet) from the graduating university, certified with a seal;

4. Certified copies of all orders (initial enrollment; status suspension/restoration/termination) regarding the student from the graduating university;

5. Document recognizing education received in a foreign country (if any);

6. Bachelor’s degree - copy of secondary education certificate;

• Master’s degree student - a copy of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent document;

• Doctoral degree student - a copy of a master’s degree or equivalent document.

Educational programs for which interviews are held:

• Applicants for mobility to the bachelor's degree programs of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design (Bachelor’s degree program – “Architecture”, Russian-language bachelor’s degree program – “Architecture”, Bachelor’s degree program – “Fashion Design Technologies”) must undergo an interview, which will be held on September 10th, 2025, at 11:00 (address: Tbilisi, Kostava N68, Building I of GTU, 4th floor, room 402 A).

• Bachelor’s degree programs of the International School of Design (English-language Bachelor’s degree program – “Design”, English-language Bachelor’s degree program – “Architecture”). Applicants for mobility must undergo an interview, which will be held from September 5th to September 9th, 2025, inclusive, at 12:00 (address: Tbilisi, 75 Kostava Street, GTU Building VIII, 2nd floor, room 4).

The documentation submitted to enroll in Master’s and Doctoral programs through mobility will be accepted taking into account the prerequisites for admission to the relevant programs (see Appendix 1, 2).

The relevant faculty will inform the person wishing to enroll in mobility about the credits counted and the academic year determined on this basis no later than September 18th, 2025.

The person wishing to enroll in mobility is obliged to familiarize himself/herself with the conclusion and on the same day, express his/her consent or refusal to move to GTU through mobility in writing. Otherwise, the university reserves the right not to consider the issue of his enrollment through mobility without prior notice.

Please consider:

• The receipt of documents and the application for consent/refusal to transfer to GTU must be made personally by the applicant or his/her trusted person, based on a notarized power of attorney.

• A student enrolled in GTU on a mobility basis signs an academic and financial agreement with the faculty after the issuance of the order. The order on enrollment in GTU on a mobility basis will be issued no later than October 1st, 2025.
