According to GTU professor Zaza Tsiramua, the first round of the Student Olympiad was held online simultaneously in the colleges involved in the project. The best students from each college were identified, who participated in the final round. The final round was held in a live format at the Georgian Technical University, in which 23 finalists participated.

“The popularization of the IT support specialty is necessary to synchronize the skills of young people with the requirements of the modern labor market and ensure the sustainable development of the technological ecosystem. Olympiads are important for improving the quality of vocational education and for increasing the motivation of young people. Participants perform tasks that are as close as possible to real working conditions, which will help them apply theoretical knowledge in practice. It is especially important that students and pupils from different regions of the country participate in the event, which contributes to the sharing of experience and the formation of a unified professional community. Thank you to each participant, representatives of colleges, and our partners for their support,” said Zaza Tsiramua.

The 4 best students were identified in the final round. The places were distributed as follows:

  • 1st place - Mamuka Lagvilava, LEPL College “Academy of Information Technologies” - 99 points;
