German Guests at GTU

On 26-28 May Vice Rector of Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany), Prof. Herbert Witte and Deputy Rector of Technische Universität Ilmenau (Germany), Prof. Klaus Augsburg visited GTU. They were invited by the Biomedical Department of GTU. The guests met the Rector of GTU, Prof. Archil Motzonelidze and Deputy Rector, Prof. Archil Prangishvili as well as GTU Professors Otar Khomeriki, David Tavkhelidze, Gela Kachukhashvili. Prof. Irine Khomeriki, Head of the Georgian Branch Office of The International Science and Technology Center attended the meeting as well.

The meeting was regarding close academic cooperation and further relationships between the universities and discussed various scientific and technical issues as well as exchange programs for researches and students. At the first stage such programs will concern Mechanical Engineering and Electrotechnics areas.
