The scientific conference was attended by professors and students of the Georgian Technical University, as well as representatives of leading foreign universities, including the heads of the Berdelle Foundation („Berdelle Stiftung“) in Munich, Doctors Stefan Lang and Gotthard Steiner.

The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Tamar Lominadze. She thanked the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia for supporting the conference, the Faculty of Business Technologies for organizing the event, and Georgian and foreign researchers for their participation, and stated that globalization is one of the most important cornerstones of transforming traditional business structures, which creates new and complex challenges, which in turn requires deep analysis, interdisciplinary cooperation, and innovative approaches.

“Globalization is no longer just an economic process. It is a complex phenomenon that combines society, economy, culture, technology, and various areas necessary for the development of humanity. Globalization creates new opportunities but also causes significant difficulties, which forces us to think deeply about its causes and consequences.

The conference theme, dialogue between scientists, exchange of views, analysis of rapidly changing trends in international trade, and research into the causes and consequences associated with the process of global integration, allows us to discuss such important topics as supply chain disruption, geopolitical risks, climate change, digital transformation, and ethical governance in industries.

For our professors and researchers, the conference is an excellent opportunity to engage in international academic dialogue, share experiences, and forge future collaborations, and for our students - a unique space where they can learn about global trends, current business challenges, and scientific thinking, which will help them determine their future professional path. The topics presented for discussion at the conference are particularly relevant for Georgia and the South Caucasus region. International contacts, foreign investments, regional conflicts, and climate change directly affect the development of the region and our country. That is why industries, the education system, and other institutions must be prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone who participated in organizing the international conference,” said Tamar Lominadze.

According to Professor Guguli Kurashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business Technologies of the Georgian Technical University, the conference promotes the sharing of scientific approaches among participants, as well as the development of future perspectives and the promotion of sustainable economic development in Eurasian countries through the involvement of students, future scientists, and researchers.

The conference was organized into five sections. Namely: Current Problems of Finance, Banking, Accounting, Audit, and Analysis - Section Head Professor Giorgi Tsaava; Modern Trends and Prospects of Business and Management Development - Section Heads: Professors Levan Grigalashvili and Merab Mikelashvili; Challenges and Prospects of Tourism and Marketing - Section Head Professor Lela Kochlamazashvili; Public Administration and Law - Section Head Professor Shota Dogonadze and Social Sciences and Multidisciplinary Studies - Section Head Professor Ramaz Otinashvili.
