“I completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Faculty of Construction Engineering at the Georgian Technical University, after which I took my first independent steps in my professional life. I always remember the responsibility that comes with our education. The university taught me to be an engineer who builds not only bridges and roads but also a better, sustainable, and intelligently developed Georgia,” says Nikoloz Kakhidze, a doctoral student at the Georgian Technical University.

Nikoloz Kakhidze completed his bachelor’s degree in Construction in 2012 and master’s degree in 2016. He is currently studying for a PhD in Water Resources Engineering.

Nikoloz Kakhidze has been working at the United Water Supply Company of Georgia since 2010 as the Head of the Geoinformation Systems and Asset Management Department.

“At the Georgian Technical University, I received a highly qualified education and experience that shaped me as a professional. Studying at the Faculty of Construction allows you to cope with the modern world challenges. At the university, we were taught how to build structures and mathematical calculations, critical thinking and the responsibility awareness associated with shaping the sustainable future of our country.

The Georgian Technical University has been a symbol of high standards of education for many years, and the Faculty of Construction continues the tradition with dignity. Through challenging study programs and practical work, under the mentorship of leading specialists and researchers in the field, we have acquired the knowledge and skills that are necessary for our country's development,” states the doctoral student.
