As the Head of the Department of Science and Innovations of GTU noted, the development of modern approaches to working with terminology is undoubtedly an important process for the academic and scientific community operating in a rapidly developing technological space.

“For the academic and scientific community operating in a rapidly developing and rapidly changing technological space, modern approaches to improving terminology and creating new terms are of paramount importance in ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of scientific communication. The creation and development of terminology banks, such as the Georgian Terminology Bank, is a tool for language development and a strategic resource that promotes education, research, and international cooperation. Through digital technologies and interdisciplinary cooperation, scientists greatly contribute to preserving language as a living and constantly evolving phenomenon and adapting it to modern science and technology requirements. In addition, the first online version development of the Georgian Term Bank is an important step in strengthening Georgia’s position in the international scientific space,” said Mikheil Janikashvili.
