“The Georgian Technical University has been connected by many years of fruitful cooperation with the founder of the global brand HIPP.

Each visit by Klaus Hipp gives new inspiration and motivation to our students. It is important that young people see such examples in reality - people who care about the development of society, invest in education and care about creating a better future.

For years, Klaus Hipp held a competition for students of the International School of Design and invited the winning students to Germany to undergo a one-month internship at his company. In this way, dozens of students gained experience. It was a unique opportunity for students to gain European experience in a high-tech and successful company, HIPP.

Today’s public lecture is especially important for us, because Georgia is a country of wine, and today’s topic – pitcher wine - holds a special place in our culture. Pitcher wine is characteristic only of Georgia, and accordingly, we are trying to popularize it internationally. Regarding this topic, Mr. Hipp's opinions, recommendations, and views will be interesting and worth considering for our students.

At the initiative of Klaus Hipp, this event was attended the students of the Faculty of Design, and also by students of the Faculties of Chemical Technology, Informatics and Management Systems, Business Technologies, and Energy.

I am sure that the Georgian Technical University will host Klaus Hipp many more times. He inspires future generations and tirelessly shares his knowledge and experience with the youth,” said Tamar Lominadze.
