GTU Rector Awarded Honorary Diplomas to Two Scientists-Researchers and Two Employees
The Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, based on the decision of the Academic Council, awarded two scientists-researchers of the Faculty of Energy and two employees of the university administration with GTU honorary diplomas for their exceptional merits to the university.

At the Academic Council meeting, the Rector presented honorary diplomas to the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Professor Lali Khuntsaria, the Laboratory Assistant of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Electromechanics, Nikoloz Avlokhashvili, the Head of the Internal Audit Service of GTU, Associate Professor Tamaz Urtmelidze, and the Head of the Department of Student Services, Culture and Sports, Dr. Levan Pipia.

As the Rector noted at the Academic Council meeting, Lali Khuntsaria, Nikoloz Avlokhashvili, Tamaz Urtmelidze, and Levan Pipia have made a great contribution to the successful activities of the Georgian Technical University for many years. As a result, the Academic Council decided to award them with honorary diplomas.

“The Academic Council decides to appreciate people distinguished by their special loyalty and professionalism towards our university. Their work deserves high praise and is aimed at the development and success of the Georgian Technical University. On behalf of the academic community, I sincerely congratulate them and wish them success,” noted David Gurgenidze.
