“I have been connected with the Georgian Technical University for more than 10 years. During this period, I participated in numerous projects and conferences. With the support and recommendation of the faculty, I began my career development at the Tbilisi City Court, Criminal Court, Pre-Trial and Substantive Review Panel, and then at the National Bureau of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia”, says Lasha Dzaganishvili, a graduate of the Georgian Technical University.

Lasha Dzaganishvili successfully completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University. He has been working at the National Bureau of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia since 2020.

“As of today, I have three professions, and of them, law is the field that has had a special influence on me. It is not easy to think legally, but hard work and working on yourself will bring success step by step. The path from general education to qualified law is full of a thousand “puzzles”, therefore, tireless work alone will not bring you anything if you do not have a high-level teacher. You need to know exactly what profession you need, and where you will meet a team of qualified lawyers who will try to turn you into a high-level lawyer. Where, if not at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University.

A student who takes the first step towards the difficult and very important profession called law will initially have a hard time understanding “where he or she has landed.” It is the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University that will provide an opportunity to easily open the door to legal studies and gain immense knowledge and experience from the university, since this faculty is lectured by high-level lawyers who hold or have held quite high and responsible positions in various state and private sectors, for example: judges of all three instances, prosecutors, notaries, lawyers, ministers, members of parliament, and scientists with extensive experience.

To think legally, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with many scientific works, court decisions, and various articles, and to work tirelessly with scientists and researchers. All of this is provided with great enthusiasm and determination by the professors and teachers of the Faculty of Law and International Relations.

This is an environment where good students are not lost, therefore, the faculty actively cares about the employment of graduates. I have always had support from the faculty leadership to participate in various international conferences, undergo internships, give public lectures, and get a job in the desired position. It is noteworthy that many students have occupied managerial positions in various public or private sectors and have also started scientific and pedagogical activities at the same faculty, which is undoubtedly the merit of the faculty. Therefore, I can boldly say that the Faculty of Law and International Relations is the greatest school where there is everything for a first-year student to become a good lawyer in four years. Thanks to my alma mater,” says Lasha Dzaganishvili.
