Winners of the University Bowling Tournament at GTU Were Announced

The University Bowling Tournament, in which students from all 13 faculties participated, successfully finished at the Georgian Technical University. In the final matches of the bowling tournament, 2 winners were announced among boys and girls.
Giga Asabashvili, a student of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystem Engineering, won first place among boys, and Maka Kekelidze, a student of the Faculty of Engineering Economics, Media Technologies, and Social Sciences, became the champion among girls.
With the arrival of spring, the university has entered a phase of sports activity. With the support of the GTU administration, it is planned to organize university tournaments in various sports.
At this stage, tournaments are held in billiards (pool) and basketball. Shortly, tournaments will be held in table tennis, futsal, volleyball, and other sports.
The organizer of the university tournaments is the GTU Student Services, Culture, and Sports Department.
As noted in the department, the winning students and teams in university tournaments will compete in various external tournaments on behalf of the Georgian Technical University in the future, including the Universiade and the Youth Festival.
The goal of holding university sports events is to popularize a healthy lifestyle among students, deepen friendships among young people, develop team skills, and reveal the best personal qualities.
