“Within the framework of the cycle of events dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion in Georgia, this is another meeting at the Georgian Technical University, with the participation of clergy, scientists, and students. The program “Georgian Identity” will remind society, especially young people, of the most important stages of history that define national values. Professor Giorgi Cheishvili presented an important public lecture to the audience, which aroused great interest among the listeners. Centuries ago, just like today, Georgia constantly has to make choices to ensure a better future. The decisions of our great ancestors need to be studied, analyzed, reconciled, and given forms acceptable to modern times, the discussion held at the university is an example of this. We are very pleased with such activity and interest of our youth,” noted Mamuka Giorgadze.

At the end of the public lecture, Professor Giorgi Cheishvili answered the audience’s questions and provided interested parties with additional information on the events that developed in Georgia in the IV-VI centuries.
