“The meeting participants agreed with our initiative to establish an alliance, and we discussed plans. We decided it is necessary to bring together the accumulated/separate experience, knowledge, and information. The union must be an excellent opportunity for young people to improve their knowledge and acquire practical skills in tourism.

The alliance members will participate in events organized by the Faculty of Sustainable Mountain Development of the Georgian Technical University. Among them, in the photo competition for students and schoolchildren “Glaciers as Water Resources”, which will be held in February-March and be dedicated to the International Year of Glacier Protection. The alliance will support the student newspaper “Motherland Begins with Mountains”. The newspaper will cover various events of the union and faculties related to mountainous regions”, stated Noe Khozrevanidze.
