“Georgian Technical University has signed a memorandum of understanding with 29 Turkish universities. Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements have been signed with 21 of them, within which student and faculty mobility is actively underway. The cooperation between us and Karabuk University envisages the participation of students and researchers in Erasmus+ exchange programs, the integration of scientific and research activities, the definition of a new meaning and purpose of student education, and the analysis of the current situation. The visit of Turkish colleagues to our university is related to the discussion of two important documents, which concern cooperation in terms of planning and participation in the festival in social sciences and health care. The Georgian Technical University welcomes the new type of cooperation with Karabuk University, which, I believe, will be a prerequisite for the new successful project implementation for both sides, students and academic staff,” said Tamar Lominadze.

For information, Karabuk University is the second university in Türkiye with the number of international students, after Anadolu University.

The university was founded in 2007 and currently consists of 16 faculties, 2 institutes, 5 colleges, 9 high schools, and 15 research institutes.
