Ana Dolidze, a student at the Faculty of Sustainable Mountain Development of Georgian Technical University, won the student scientific conference “The Future of Georgian Resort Development”.
The student’s second scientific conference was held with the support of the Tbilisi Balneological Resort, the hotel chain “Marco Polo” and the digital equipment store chain “Zumeri” and organized by the Resort Development Agency. The jury selected 18 students as the authors of the best theses among the participants.
According to Professor Noe Khozrevanidze, Head of the GTU Faculty of Sustainable Mountain Development, the jury named Anna Dolidze’s report “Conceptual Model of Sustainable Development on the Example of the Nunisi Resort” among the best.
“The conference format discussed student theses on the modernization of Georgian resorts, balneological, climatic, wellness, and spa resorts, sustainable development, the use of information technologies, the introduction of innovative approaches, and others.
A student of the Faculty of Sustainable Mountain Development of the Georgian Technical University – ana Dolidze, won second place. At the award ceremony, the Director of the Resort Development Agency, Aleksandre Onoprishvili, presented her with a certificate, and representatives of the Gudauri Ski Resort Hotel “Alpina” and the digital equipment store chain “Zumeri” presented gift vouchers. I congratulate our student and her scientific supervisor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Tamar Koblianidze on her victory and wish them success,” said Noe Khozrevanidze.

More than 100 students, professors, and interested persons from Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi universities attended the event.
