The XII International Scientific Conference – “Global Challenges and Transformation of Economic Development Models” Was Held at GTU
The XII International Scientific Conference – “Global Challenges and Transformation of Economic Development Models” was held at Georgian Technical University. It was organized by the Faculty of Engineering Economics, Media Technologies and Social Sciences and Akaki Tsereteli State University.

Representatives of the academic circles of Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, professors and students of the Faculty of Engineering Economics, Media Technologies and Social Sciences of GTU participated in the work of the XII International Scientific Conference, as did delegations of leading universities of Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other countries.

The Head of the Quality Assurance Service of Georgian Technical University addressed the participants of the XII International Scientific Conference on “Global Challenges and Transformation of Economic Development Models.”

As Professor David Makhviladze noted, at the conference special attention will be paid to the problem of economic challenges and discussion of modern economic models.

“The topics presented at the conference are interesting and important. As the world faces new challenges, the issues scientists and young researchers discuss are timely.

Science should have a decisive say on such topics as the impact of migration processes on macroeconomic indicators, economic growth trends in Georgia, inclusive development of the global economy, green economy and sustainable development challenges in the process of transformation of the world order, venture capital as a means of financing innovative business, investment policy and the economic security of the country, the impact of intellectual capital on the economic growth of the country, sustainable development is a fundamental aspect of business, prospects for the development of the capital market in Georgia and others. Today, these issues humanity is facing are challenges. I wish success to the conference participants,” - noted David Makhviladze.

The work of the XII International Scientific Conference – “Global Challenges and Transformation of Economic Development Models” was held in three independent sections and more than 30 researchers and students participated. According to the head of the Department of Engineering Economics of GTU, Professor Aleksandre Sichinava, topics discussed at the International Economic Forum will be published in the magazine – “Business Engineering”.

The scientific recommendations developed in the publication will be useful for academic circles, theorists, and practitioners of politics, economics, and social relations interested in researching the political-economic and global challenges of the modern world.
