Applications for the "European Union Prize in Journalism 2024" competition are still being accepted. The deadline for submitting works is October 10th, 2024.

This year, the competition jury members will select the winners in the following categories:

• Best article in print or electronic media;

• The best story in broadcast or electronic media;

• Best investigative article or story in print, electronic, or broadcast media;

• Best blog/opinion/column in print, online or broadcast

• In the media;

• Most original and innovative work in print, electronic, or broadcast

• In the media;

• The best documentary photo depicting common values;

• Best student work in print, broadcast, or online media.

• The winner in each category will receive a cash prize.

Contest rules

“The European Union Prize in Journalism” was established in 2012 with the support of the European Union Representation in Georgia.

The competition promotes the establishment of the norms of the charter of journalistic ethics in the Georgian media.
