Applications will be accepted from August 12 to 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m., at the address: Tbilisi, Mindeli St. N10, Archil Eliashvili Management Systems Institute, 4th floor, room N1, responsible person Ketevan Kvirikashvili, Tel.: 032 231 98 74.

The competition will be held on August 16th, 2024. The initial results of the competition will be published no later than August 16th, 2024, in a conspicuous place by the competition commission, on the websites of the university and the institute: https://msi.gtu.ge/ and https://gtu.ge/

Statements/complaints regarding the violation of the rules of conducting the competition will be received by the competition commission until August 21st, 2024.

For persons wishing to participate in the competition, additional information (contestant questionnaire, application time, and place of the interview) will be published on the website of the institute: https://msi.gtu.ge/

II. Competition conditions

The main conditions of the competition:

a) The position of senior scientific employee can be held by a person who has a doctor’s degree or an academic degree equivalent to it;
b) An owner of the master’s degree or equivalent academic degree can hold the position of scientific employee.
A person is elected to the position of a scientist (senior scientific employee, scientific employee) for 5 years.
The person wishing to participate in the competition must personally (or through a representative) present:
a) duly completed and signed application form and questionnaire (the forms will be published on the website of the institute https://msi.gtu.ge/), as well as the documents confirming the information presented in them: diploma, certificate, deed, notice, etc. (original and copy);
b) a document confirming scientific/academic degree (original and copy);
c) document(s) certifying scientific research experience (length of service) verified by the seal of the relevant organization/institution;
d) list of scientific and educational-methodological works, certified by the signature and seal of a competent person of the relevant institution/organization or its structural unit (if any);
e) ID card (original and photocopy);
f) 2 photographs, size - 3X4;
g) Notice of conviction for committing a crime against sexual freedom and inviolability and notice of deprivation of rights.

Note: The person who has already submitted the mentioned references to the human capital management department of the university is exempted from presenting the references.


III. Rules of conducting the competition

The competition will be held by the “Law on Higher Education” of Georgia, the university’s statutes, and the rules for hiring a scientific staff of the Archil Eliashvili Institute of Management Systems, which the contestants will familiarize themselves with in the competition commission, on the websites of the university and the institute;

The competition commission will take into account the conformity of the contestant’s qualification and competence with the competitive position, including the relevant scientific research, practical and other activities, achievements, qualifications, experience, and merit, (according to the decision of the commission) the results of the interview conducted with the contestant(s);

The results of the competition can be appealed in court by the applicable legislation.
