Muskhelishvili Institute of Computational Mathematics (MICM) of the Georgian Technical University organizes the International Conference ANALYSIS, STOCHASTICS, COMPUTING (ASC 2020), which will be held on 6 – 9 of July, 2020, in Tbilisi. Conference is dedicated to the memory of a prominent Georgian mathematician, Academician Nicholas Vakhania (1930 - 2014) on the occasion of his 90th birthday. N. Vakhania was the founder of one of the new fields of mathematics in Georgia - probability theory in infinite-dimensional vector spaces. His fruitful scientific activity has strongly influenced the field, likewise his classical monographs, which are still cited and are the sources of inspiration for the new ideas even today.
Professor Vakhania has been a frequent guest of the well-known research centers and universities worldwide for joint research with his colleagues, where he gave the lectures as well. The Georgian scientific school, founded by him, has quickly gained its fame and weight in the country and abroad as well. For today, the scientists from various countries, such as USA, New Zealand, Germany, India, Israel, Canada, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, have already expressed their intention to take part in the conference. Selected talks of the conference will be published in the high impact scientific journal.
