The Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering has two main laboratories, which fully serve the process of practical teaching and research at the Faculty and include the following sub-directions:

• "Motor transport and logistics training laboratory";
• "Training laboratory of railway transport - simulator";
• "Educational laboratory of wagon construction and repair technology";
• "Laboratory of Railway Automation, Telemechanics and Communication";
• "Laboratory of Interchangeability, Standardization and Technical Measurements";
• Laboratory of robots and robotic equipment;
• "Forestry-Technical Laboratory";
• "Laboratory of car parts and crane-transport vehicles";
• "Laboratory of Refrigeration Technologies";
• "Laboratory of technological devices and production processes";
• "Laboratory of testing fuel and lubricants".

The laboratories are equipped with various kinds of universal and semi-automatic tooth processing machines with: a complex kinematic structure; software management machine tool systems; industrial robots and computer-controlled devices; production technological equipment and relevant research and laboratory measuring equipment; separate operating modules and elements of hydraulic and pneumatic drives; operating units equipped with hydro, electro-hydro and electro-mechanical systems; laboratory equipment for dynamic research of mechanical drives; research measuring devices and tools, control and regulation element parameters (electrical devices) registration equipment; simulators.
