Dean of the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering

The dean of the faculty is elected to the office by the board of the faculty for a term of four years, and he ensures the effective course of educational and scientific activities at the faculty. Dean within the framework of other powers granted by the law of Georgia "On Higher Education", the university charter and legal acts of the university:

• submits the faculty's development plan, educational and scientific-research programs to the Faculty Board for review;
• Develops and submits to the faculty board for approval the structure and regulations of the faculty;
• Within the scope of his competence, he is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the Academic Board, the Representative Board (Senate), the Faculty Board and the Board;
• issues individual legal acts within his competence;
• presides over the sessions of the faculty board;
• In accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Higher Education" and the University Statute, he is responsible for the targeted use of the faculty's budget;
• within the scope of the authority granted to him, he represents the faculty in relations with third parties;
• signs agreements and memoranda on behalf of the faculty within the scope of the authority granted to him;
