A computer center equipped with modern information technology functions to ensure the educational process and research at the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering. It is divided into five various computer rooms, which can be used by both faculty students and academic staff without restriction.
The classes serve the specific needs of learning/teaching and research according to other educational programs, namely:
Computer class 1
The computer class serves the educational needs of the educational program "Logistics" and "Transport Engineering" and it is equipped with computers of appropriate capacity and software resources that allow the students of the mentioned educational programs to study the exclusive programs necessary for their specialty;
Computer class 2
The computer class is intended for the vocational training program. In particular, students of the professional educational program "Print Media Technologies" use the class. The class is equipped with relevant programs necessary for learning/teaching, where students have the opportunity to learn and acquire knowledge of such programs as ADOBE PHOTOSHOP; ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR; ADOBE INDESIGN; CORELDRAW; Other and other office programs.
Computer class 3
The computer class named after Professor G. Bokuchava serves the educational program of all three levels of mechanical engineering. The class is equipped with modern computers and learning resources, where assignments can be prepared; conduct relevant research and various learning/teaching activities;
Computer class 4
This is the so-called The study area is used in common, where any student and employee of the faculty can use the computers and other educational resources without restriction. In class they can prepare various tasks and presentations; to conduct relevant researches and use relevant bases for learning/teaching purposefully;
Computer class 5
In the workspace of the academic department of engineering graphics and technical mechanics, there is a two-department computer class named after Professor A. Shavgulidze, which is equipped with modern computer technologies. It fully serves the programmatic needs of the department's curriculum. It should be noted that the department serves other engineering educational programs at the university level. Accordingly, in addition to the faculty of transport systems and mechanical engineering, the computer class is used by students of various faculties of GTU, whose educational programs include studying/teaching subjects provided by the profile of the academic department of engineering graphics and technical mechanics;
