The department administers the undergraduate academic program “Fashion Design Technologies.” This program has been offered at the Faculty of Architecture since 2015.
Fashion design technologies constitute a synthetic art form encompassing the visual and technical aspects of clothing, style, and aesthetic values.
Students acquire integrated knowledge in both artistic-technical modeling and modern innovative and creative technologies. Upon completing the program, graduates will be prepared to create contemporary design products (garments, footwear, accessories) of high artistic, technical, and aesthetic value by drawing on fashion trends, developments in construction and technology, and traditional currents of cultural heritage. Building on the general theoretical and practical knowledge acquired, graduates will be equipped for successful careers in the field of fashion design.
