- The project "Forensic Techniques in Theory and Practice" is being implemented under the joint agreement of the Educational Forensics Laboratory at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University and the Levan Samkharauli National Bureau of Forensic Expertise.
- It should be noted that until now there is no project in the educational space of Georgia, on the basis of which it will be shown how theoretical issues and practical aspects of forensic techniques are realized and integrated in modern conditions.
- The mentioned project will be conducted in two directions - academic (educational) and practical, which implies complex work and will be implemented in two stages.
- The first stage - the academic (educational) course includes: the study of theoretical issues of such important branches of forensic technique by the qualified practicing expert criminologists of the Levan Samkharauli National Bureau of Forensics in the educational criminology laboratory at the Faculty of Law and International Relations, such as: Dactyloscopy, trasology, ballistics, forensic examination of documents and handwriting, habitoscopy, phonoscopy, biological, drug and medical expertise.
- The second stage will be carried out after the completion of the theoretical course and includes the adequate study and analysis of the practical components in the laboratories of the Levan Samkharauli National Bureau of Forensics of the theoretical issues determined for the first stage by the practical expert-criminologists.
At the last stage of the project, a final exam will be held, which takes into account the knowledge of theoretical and practical issues of forensic techniques studied according to the first and second stages. The winning participant of the project will be identified, who will be awarded with incentive prizes by the Faculty of Law and International Relations. Also, a competition will be held in various nominations and the winners will be announced.
- Any undergraduate and graduate student of the Faculty of Law and International Relations will have the opportunity to participate in the project.
