On May 16, 2019, Professor Wilhelm Hauser of Saarbrücken University of Technology and Economics was awarded the honorary doctorate degree of Georgian Technical University for the promotion of long-term and fruitful scientific cooperation between the GeorgianTechnical University and the German Saarbrücken University of Technology and Economics, for the support of Georgian students.

The Faculty of Business Technologies has invited Professor Wilhelm Hauser to deliver public lectures from October 26, 2021 to October 26, 2022.

From October 1, 2022, Professor Wilhelm Hauser will hold the position of Visiting Professor (English) at the Faculty of Business Technologies until August 1, 2023.
