History

At the Technical University of Georgia (in 1995) for the first time, the specialty of public administration (state management official) was created, the successor of which is the Faculty of Business Technologies. The faculty of business technologies has 30 years of experience and currently has three levels: bachelor's; The master's and doctoral study programs are functioning.

The Faculty of Business Technologies occupies leading positions in the Google search engine:

  • "Interdisciplinary research" (search words) - - the results of calculating the efficiency of Tbilisi public transport services using the method of mathematical statistics are on the first place – author Ketevan Kandelaki, Ph.D. in Public Administration of the Faculty of Business Technologies of GTU; 
  • "Research on public administration problems" (search words) - the research institute of the Faculty of Business Technologies, which conducts research in the direction of innovative state services and technology management, e-government policy implementation, development of public-private sector partnership models, has been promoted.

"Scientific sparring" - "competition/exercise" for novice researchers

"Scientific Sparring" was introduced for the first time at the Faculty of Business Technologies as a "competition/exercise" of scientists and novice researchers in order to deepen tactical habits in interdisciplinary research. The personal experience of scientists (backgrounder) and the acquisition of transferable skills allow the scientific product to become visible to the public, and the scientific thinking - highly communicative.
