On February 10, 2018, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Nino Gvenetadze, met the students and professors of the Faculty within the framework of the "Meet the Employer" project organized by the Faculty of Law and International Relations at the Central Library of the Georgian Technical University.

The event was opened by Academician Archil Prangishvili, Rector of the Georgian Technical University, who emphasized such interdisciplinary projects initiated by the faculty as: engineering law, space law, business law, etc., focused on the introduction of multidisciplinary programs and innovations.

The meeting was attended by: Professor Eliko Tsiklauri-Lamikh of Max Planck Institute, GTU Speaker Professor Jemal Ghakhokidze, Professor Irakli Gabisonia, Dean of GTU Faculty of Law and International Relations, faculty members and students.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Professor Nino Gvenetadze, presented a report to the audience, who thanked the university management for the invitation.

During the report, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Nino Gvenetadze, touched upon the basic aspects of the four-year strategy of the judicial system. He highlighted the reforms implemented in the judicial system, the challenges of the court and some problems of the proceedings.

The attending public was welcomed by Professor Eliko Tsiklauri-Lamikh of Max Planck University, who emphasized the possibility of Georgian Technical University to create and establish interdisciplinary programs, and also spoke about the creation of the "Center for New Technologies and Legal Forecasting" at the Faculty, which will contribute to the forecasting of modern technologies.

After reviewing the activities of the courts, the chairman of the Supreme Court, Nino Gvenetadze, answered the questions of the students, who expressed a number of opinions regarding interesting and problematic issues. The guest also gave practical recommendations to the students and wished them success.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of GTU, Professor Irakli Gabisonia, presented the textbooks: "Investigative Law", "Prosecution Law" and "Comments on the Code of Juvenile Justice" as a gift to the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia. On his part, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court recalled the textbooks and pamphlets issued by the Supreme Court to the GTU library.
