Educational programs

In the country, the following educational programs of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees are carried out only at the Faculty of Mining and Geology:

Museums and laboratories

There are three geological museums at the faculty, which are filled with unique exhibits and an educational shaft-laboratory that has no analogues in many countries of the Near Abroad and Europe. In addition, the faculty serves students and researchers with educational and research laboratories equipped with appropriate modern equipment.

Mining - Geological Technologies Center

The Faculty also has a Center for Mining and Geological Technologies, where students and researchers can study modern field technological programs.

The "Explosive" program is the only one in the country

Only at the Faculty of Mining and Geology is the accredited professional learning program "Explosive" the only one in the country that trains personnel for mining, construction, transport and other branches of industry.

The program is provided with both Georgian and foreign literature

All educational programs are provided with appropriate programs in the Georgian language, and faculty and university libraries provide uninterrupted access to foreign literature.

State and nominal scholarships

Outstanding students of the faculty have the opportunity to receive both state and nominal scholarships sponsored by the employer.

Industrial practice and internship

Faculty students are provided with industrial practice and honors students with internships and employment in high-paying positions.

Exchange programs

Students have the opportunity to participate in ERASMUS+ exchange programs at leading European higher education institutions.

Scientific studies and conferences

Students have the opportunity to engage in scientific research and present their work at local and international student and industry conferences.

Student life and individual teaching schedule

Students have the opportunity to receive complete student services, participate in sports, cultural, creative events. And those students who succeed on behalf of the university at the national or international level will be assigned an individual teaching schedule.
