Arsen the robot hustling

Student: Anna Betchvaia

Professor: David Bostanashvili

Theme: Reinterpreting the garage as a grown mutation of an existing building.

Course project, year IV, 2017.

People refer to them as "pipes". That is all. The building stands unfinished and vacant in the center of the city in Tbilisi's Rike park. Technically unfinished, it lookს quite done from visually. Everything is finished and nothing has emerged. The project aims to continue the architectural life of "the Pipes" by engaging them in a playful scenario. The architectural mutation creates a playspace for a cyber character. His name is Arsen and all day long he loads and unloads the cars from their pods. A giant chair in the middle of the parks awaits him. When tired, Arsen sits, charging his batteries and looks far over the city.
