Summary
A hand-held audiometer has been developed that can be used for hearing screening. In addition, it has an 8x8 matrix of colored LED lamps for displaying the audiogram.
Currently, low-end audiometers on the market start at around $1,000 and high-end ones go over $20,000, in contrast, we can build a low-cost audiometer with the other and more necessary components we have on hand.
All this will allow a field such as audiology to obtain a product at a much lower cost, which will then be used in free hearing testing.
