Silkroad Innovation Hub invites students and graduates of GTU to take part in TechCrunch’s prestigious startup competition, the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield - Central Eurasia.

The competition aims to discover innovative startups and help them succeed in the global market. Participants will have a unique opportunity to present their ideas to some of the world’s leading investors and technology leaders.

Selection Process and Finals

Representatives from eight countries can enter the competition: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, and Turkey.

Through a regional selection process, the top three startups will be chosen to advance to the final stage of the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield. The finals will take place in San Francisco from October 27 to 29, 2025.

The winner (top 3 members in the region) will receive:

• l A prize of 100,000 USD and a booth at TechCrunch Disrupt;
• l Travel and accommodation expenses for 2 team members;
• l the opportunity to make a presentation to the world’s largest investors;
• l Global media coverage on TechCrunch.com.

Who can participate?

• l GTU students and graduates;
• l Teams of 2-4 members;
• l Startups that already have a functional version of the product (MVP) and are working on its development;
• l A startup idea that is tailored to market needs and has growth potential.
