As a result of rebranding implemented in 2022, the logo and coat of arms of the Georgian Technical University have been changed. The abbreviation of the name of the University "GTU" was chosen as logo.

A distinguishing symbol was defined for the faculties: the element of the abbreviation "T", as the main distinguishing word "technical" in the name expresses the essence of the University and it conveys the content and characteristics of each faculty. The dimensions of construction planning - length, width and height - became the inspiration for the symbol of the Faculty of Construction.
