The educational, scientific and expert laboratory of hydroengineering of the Faculty of Construction consists of 4 laboratories of different directions:

  1. 1. The hydraulics laboratory is located in the 1st building, on the 3rd floor, room #304a. 9 laboratory works are carried out in the laboratory, including: hydrostatic pressure measurement methods; determination of the shape of the free surface of a liquid in a rotating cylindrical vessel; illustration of Bernoulli's equation; determination of Reynolds number; determination of length and local resistance coefficient for pressure pipelines; Flow of liquid from holes and holes during constant pressure, etc.
  2. 2. The laboratory of hydrotechnical structures is located in block C of the first building, on the first floor, room #103-105a. The following works are carried out in the laboratory: vibrostand in working condition (arch dam model temporarily removed); 3 test stands for strength; hydraulic jacks with different diameters, manometers, deformation measuring device; Tensometric measuring information system of deformations, etc.
  3. 3. The laboratory of water supply and drainage is located in the first building, on the first floor. The following courses are held in the laboratory: determination of hydraulic characteristics of water-consuming fittings; determination of the hydraulic characteristics of the vane water meter; determination of the hydraulic characteristics of the turbine water meter; Centrifugal pump test; construction of pump operating characteristic curves; During parallel operation of two pumps, construction of the total characteristic curve, etc.
  4. 4. The laboratory of the Department of Heating, Air Supply and Ventilation is located in the 1st building, on the 3rd floor. The following laboratory works are carried out in the laboratory: determination of the efficiency action factor of the heating boiler; Determination of heat supply of heating devices; Determination of hot water boiler parameters; determination of hydraulic characteristics of the heating system network; Study of working modes of central conditioner and refrigerator (on the basis of Institute of Mathematics), etc.

In 2018, together with the Austrians, it was planned to build a modern hydraulic engineering laboratory worth 7 million euros.
