On October 15 – 19, GTU Professor Giorgi Bagaturia (Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems) visited Koszalin University of Technology (Poland) within Erasmus+ mobility project coordinated by KUT.
GTU Professor delivered a course of lectures in Applied Mathematics on the topics concerning the theory of Partial Differential Equations and its applications. To be more specific, some problems for mixed type equations and their applications were included in the course.
During the lectures given to the students and Professors of Polish University, Georgian scientist presented and reviewed his main research results in the field, obtained over the last few years as well as some results
obtained by outstanding scientists in the field pointing out the importance of those outcomes from both theoretical and practical points of view. By the end of the course, GTU Professor also presented future plans related to his research activities and the perspectives to face new challenges.
During the mobility stay in Koszalin, he had also some business meetings with the University administrative and academic staff and PhD students, discussing the perspectives of further scientific-research collaboration between the Georgian Technical University and Koszalin University of Technology.
