On June 3-9, GTU Faculty of Agricultural Science and Biosystems Engineering Professors, Giorgi Kvartskhava (Dean of the Faculty) and Irine Danelia and the Head of Media Archive Group at International Relations and Standards Office, Nikoloz Bregvadze visited Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland) within ongoing Erasmus+ mobility project for teaching and training activities (coordinated by PULS).
Georgian Professors conducted the lectures at the Faculty of Forestry and became familiar with educational and scientific activities of the Faculty. Prof. Giorgi Kvartskhava delivered lectures for Polish students on environmental effects, economic impact, control and strategy, etc.
Prof. Irine Danelias’s lectures course covered such issues as biodiversity of Georgian forests; Main habitats, ecosystems and communities; Botanical diversity of Georgian forests; Endemic, relict and endangered species; Threats and challenges; Main reservations and protected areas.
As an administrative staff, the Head of Media Archive Group (International Relations and Standards Office) Nikoloz Bregvadze had working meetings at PULS International Relations Office and made the presentation about GTU International Relations and Standards Office and its activities.
Intensive mobility schedule included various cultural events organized by Poznan University of Life Sciences and the representatives of Georgian Technical University had opportunity to explore Forest Culture Centre in Goluchow, Forest Experimental District in Murowana Goslina, Forest Arboretum in Zielonka, Kornik Arboretum, Table Mountains National Park and Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Wojslawice.
