ERASMUS+ - AKU Professors Mobility Visit at GTU

23-10-2017 On 16-19 October Professors from Afyon Kocatepe University – AKU (Turkey) visited Georgian Technical University for training and teaching activities within ERASMUS+ mobility project coordinated by AKU.

During the mobility stay Turkish scientists from AKU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences: Assistant Professor Mehmet Fındık, Assistant Professor Cem Gökçe, Research Assistant Özgür Aydoğuş (as Administrative Staff)  and Assistant Professor Ahmet İnkaya (as Academic Staff) visited GTU popular scientific-educational labs and became familiar with ongoing educational and research processes at the Technical University.

Assistant Professor Ahmet İnkaya deliverd the course on Economics at the Department of Engineering Economic of the Faculty of Engineering Economic, Media Technology and Social Sciences.

At the meeting with Prof. Aleksander Sichinava, Head of Engineering Economic Department were discussed the issues related to the Economic education and teaching methods in Turkey and in Georgia.

Mobility Schedule included working meeting at GTU International Relations and Standards Office as well. At the meeting with with the representatives of GTU International Relations and Standards Office young Turkish scientists talked about their experience and scientific activities and made brief presentation about AKU and the study opportunities in Turkey.

During the mobility stay in Tbilisi there were suggested social and cultural activities such as sightseeing tour in Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
